Physiotherapists are university trained and are experts in injury diagnosis, injury treatment, exercise prescription, injury prevention, rehabilitation and many other areas of sport and health and fitness.
Be prepared to provide your previous medical or surgical history. If you have any relevant reports , please bring this with you along with a list of medication. If you don’t have these reports, we will do our best to obtain them from your physician.
The number of treatments will vary depending on the problem and individual. After a thorough assessment, the physiotherapist will discuss their treatment plan for the rehabilitation process.
It would be ideal if you can bring or wear shorts and/or a t-shirt. Gowns will be provided if we are treating areas where you may be asked to remove clothing.

No, you do not need to be referred by a doctor as our therapists can perform a full assessment and provide treatment without a referral. However some health insurance companies may require a doctors referral in order to be reimbursement for payment. It is always good to call the insurance company first. We can call with you or you can call on your own.

Yes, most of our services are covered extensively by health insurance plans. These include : automobile insurance, worker's compensation boards, private health insurers and student health care plans.

Yes, you can attend Pro-Life Wellness Centre Physiotherapy Clinics or any other clinic of your preference.
We do not have a wait-list because appointments are booked ahead of time. We ask that patients book their appointment at least one day in advance.
If you were in a car accident you do not have to pay for treatment. We will bill your insurance company directly.
Yes we treat sports injuries and we have therapists that are specialized in sports related injuries.
Yes there is plenty of free parking available.
No, most of our services are not covered by OHIP. However, there are exceptions for assistive devices with a medical referral from your physician. Please contact our office for more information.
