Begum Tekin

Begum is a dedicated and compassionate physiotherapy assistant with a strong passion for improving the lives and well-being of individuals through therapeutic care and support. Her journey in the field of physiotherapy has been defined by a commitment to providing the highest level of patient care and promoting optimal physical health. Begum completed her formal education in Physiotherapy at Marmara University, equipping her with the knowledge and skills to assist licensed physiotherapists in delivering effective treatments. During her spare time, Begum enjoys working out, volunteers at a Food Bank, and learns Spanish that helps her maintain a balanced and healthy life, which, in turn, allows her to provide the best care to the patients. “If exercise could be purchased in a pill, it would be the single most widely prescribed beneficial medicine in the world.” -Plato

Mina Khallil – Panah

Upon completing Physical Therapy at the Shiraz university in Iran, Mina began her career in orthopedic physiotherapy, which she loves and continues to practice. Mina has extensive experience at the different physiotherapy settings including Outpatient physiotherapy, Hospital and Home Care setting. Each client is unique and Mina uses a variety of techniques to tailor a customized treatment plan to the individual. In addition to being an experienced professional in her field, Mina has developed exceptional listening skills to be attentive to client needs. Mina sees patients with a variety of concerns related to Orthopaedic, TMJ, Structural conditions including: chronic pain, acute injury,  scoliosis, sports injury. Pelvic Floor Health including female urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, vaginismus (painful penetration), vulvodynia (pelvic pain), diastasis recti and coccydynia (tailbone pain) Prenatal and Postpartum Physiotherapy help women prepare for delivery, improve prenatal fitness, will contribute to an easier pregnancy and delivery Postpartum Physiotherapy will help you to strengthen the pelvic floor and guide you back to regular activities. Also, helping to restore the core (Diastasis: separation of the abdominal muscles). Special interest: Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy became a passion. Mina realized many individuals have common concerns related to pelvic health but are often too embarrassed to seek advice, or are unaware that treatment is available. Her goal is to improve the health and quality of life for her clients. She wants to remove the stigma surrounding pelvic health concerns and assist her clients in regaining a connection to their pelvic floor and optimize their health and function. Specialized training: Pertaining to Pelvic Floor Physiotherapist, Complex care Physiotherapist and Orthopaedic Physiotherapist. Mina believes in a multidisciplinary approach where the patients are seen as whole. When not working, Mina enjoys spending some quality time with her family, swimming and listening to music.

Quinn Powell-Jones

Quinn Powell-Jones successfully graduated from York University with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Health Science. He continued his career and received his Master of Physical Therapy from Queens University. Upon graduation he became a Licensed and Registered Physiotherapist in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists in Ontario. He then furthered his career by receiving post graduate certifications including Acupuncture as well as Vestibular Rehabilitation. Quinn is compassionate and a caring Physiotherapist with a drive to help patients achieve their goals. He utilizes evidence-based practices to ensure the best outcomes for his patients. While providing treatment, he assists patients to overcome any obstacle or injuries to get back to their sport, hobby, or everyday life. When he is not working, you can find Quinn snowboarding, hiking, golfing, and maintaining an active lifestyle.
